The Liberal Influence in Universities

According to Robert Maranto of Villanoca University, several studies found a strong liberal bias at U.S. universities. He says that one study  found that liberals outnumber conservatives in political science 5 to 1, and in anthropology and sociology 20 to 1.

According to Maranto, universities are constrained by "progressive dogma," and this turns them into "intellectually dull places." This is a shame, he says, because universities claim to treasure diversity.
